Open to All Scouts BSA Youth, Venturers and Adults
Whether you are attending camp for a full week, a short week or as part of the day only program, you will be able to take part in any of the programs available for Scouts BSA youth and adults.
What's There to Do?
The program fills each day with adventure and the experiences for which youth join Scouting: Character Development, Citizenship Training, Personal Fitness, and Leadership Development activities such as:
- Shooting Sports: Archery, Rifles, Shotguns
- Scouting Skills
- Nature and Conservation
- Group Games and Sports
- Arts and Crafts
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- Camp Songs and Skits
- Swimming, Boating, Fishing, Mile Swim
Trail's Head - This program is designed for new or young Scouts who are still working on reguirements for Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class.
Merit Badges - We offer several different merit badges that Scouts can work on during the week. In some cases, completion of the badge may not be possible but every effort will be made to assist the Scout in finishing as many requirements as possible.
Pocumtuc Summer Experience - Week 1
Members of the Order of the Arrow are invited to attend week 1 and participate in the Pocumtuc Summer Experience. During the week you will spend the morning working on various service projects for the camp (one year the fencing at the amphitheatre was installed). The remainder of the day will be spent doing the usual summer camp activities. If your troop is attending camp that week, you can stay with them. If not, then you will join the Provisional Troop. The cost for this program is only $150 for the entire week! Contact any of the Lodge Officers for more information.
Specialty Week - TBD
Scouts BSA, Sea Scouts, and Venturing members are invited to our participate in one of two specialty programs. Scouts may choose to focus on a number of Aquatics merit badges and awards programs or Eagle Scout required merit badges. This program will end on Friday morning instead of Saturday.
