Annual Meeting Announcement and Call for Executive Board and Officer Nominations

The annual meeting of the Local Council of the Corporation of Western Massachusetts Council, BSA will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, 5:30 PM, at St. Anthony Cedar Banquet Hall Cedars Banquet Facility located at 375 Island Pond Rd, Springfield, MA. The Silver Beaver Court of Honor will take place after the Annual Meeting. 

This Annual Meeting of the Local Council shall be for the purpose of (a) receiving annual reports of the Executive Board, officers, and various committees (b) electing members at large, associate, and honorary members of the Local Council, National Council members, regular members of the Executive Board and officers of the Corporation other than Scout Executive and (c) receiving and approving financial statements of the Corporation.

Recommendations of possible nominees for consideration by the Nominating Committee must be made in writing at least 30 days prior to the annual meeting. Please provide those to Art Lobdell, ASE in writing to forward to the Nomination Committee, art.lobdell@scouting.org or mail to Western Massachusetts Council, BSA 1 Arch Rd., Westfield, MA 01085.
