Sale of Chesterfield Scout Reservation on July 18 - 7/26/18 - The Western Massachusetts Council of the Boy Scouts of America announced the sale of the 186-acre Chesterfield Scout Reservation to a buyer who plans to maintain the property and continue to offer outdoor programs.

 

A Foundation Built by an Oath and Laws - 7/12/18 - The foundation that Scouting provides is built upon a code of conduct exemplified by the Scout Oath and the 12 points of the Scout Law. Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence and reinforce ethical standards.

 

WMBSA to honor Norman Rockwell Museum CEO Laurie Norton Moffatt at 2018 Distinguished Citizen Award Reception - 6/07/18 - Laurie Norton Moffatt, Chief Executive Officer, Norman Rockwell Museum. The Western Massachusetts Council of the Boy Scouts of America will honor Moffatt at the 2018 Distinguished Citizen Award Reception on June 21 at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
