Mission Possible 2019
The Western Massachusetts Council Program Committee is pleased to coordinate the Fall 2019 camporee at the Horace A. Moses Scout Reservation focusing on the challenges and adventure that the Boy Scouts of America offers. This camporee is open to all Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews and Explorer Posts.
Mission Possible 2019 will be showcasing many of the activities that are available at Moses, including the climbing tower, shooting sports ranges (rifle, shotgun, archery), boating (canoes and kayaks), ATVs and mountain bikes, pioneering area, axe throwing range and more. These events will be featured in competitive events during the day on Saturday. Scouts BSA patrols will compete in two categories of Mission Possible teams, Trainees (young patrols ages 11-13) and Adventurers (older patrols ages 14-17), for prizes. Venture Crews and Explorer Posts will be invited to compete as Adventurers.
In addition to the competitive events, the patrols, crews and posts will be gathering pieces of the puzzle that will be assembled during a gathering on Saturday evening, revealing the mission made possible by Scouting. See the event guide below for details.
The fee for all participants is $12, payable in advance.
