GOAT Service Patrol Work Day

Date/Time:

Oct 14, 2021 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location:

Horace A. Moses Scout Reservation
310 Birch Hill Rd
Russell, MA 01071

We are organizing a group of adults (18 years of age and older) who have the ability and willingness to do volunteer service ONCE A MONTH on a WEEKDAY. We are currently meeting on a THURSDAY. For those of you who are not familiar with the reservation, it is a Scout Camp located in Russell, MA.

You do not have to be a Scout or Scouter – just civic-minded.  ALL ARE WELCOME!

  • Scouts leaders – male and female
  • Church groups
  • Veterans groups
  • Civic Organizations
  • Retired persons wanting to lend a hand
  • Corporate friends whose companies encourage civic service
  • Anybody and everybody

The work is light such as painting/staining, clearing light brush, moving manageable items. It is also light-hearted. If we don’t have a few laughs and make new friends along the way then we are doing something wrong.

If you send us an E-Mail you make no more of a commitment than we will send you a notice about the next GOAT service day. You are not obligated to show up.

Come only if you care to. Easy! Just send an Email to rgosselin@charter.net with you full name with GOAT in the subject line.

The service day starts at 9AM and runs to 4PM with a pizza lunch break provided.

Grab a friend and come on up.  - Bob Gosselin
