Appalachian Trail Adult Leader Training Day 2
The Appalachian Trail District is offering adult leader training for Cub Scout leaders, Scouts BSA leaders, and merit badge counselors. The training will be spread out over two Monday evenings, November 18 and 25. Each evening will offer unique training sessions and leaders can select one training course per evening. Attendance at both evenings is not required - simply select at least one course between the two evenings.
Each course costs $5, which covers materials and overhead expense for offering the trainings.
The following courses are being offered on Monday, November 18: Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Position Specific, Den Leader/Assistant Den Leader Position Specific, and Merit Badge Counselor Orientation.
The following courses are being offered on Monday, November 25: Cubmaster/Assistant Cubmaster Position Specific, Pack Committee, and Troop Committee.
All courses will be offered from 5:30 - 8:30pm at the First United Methodist Church on Fenn Street in Pittfield. All questions should be referred to Course Director Douglas Tetreault.
