Appalachian Trail Training

The District Training Committee is responsible for providing opportunities for basic and advanced adult and youth leader training to leaders throughout the district. This is accomplished through a combination of offering local training opportunities and promoting council-wide training events.

We are always looking for volunteers to serve as trainers in upcoming courses. If you have any interest or would like to learn more about these opportunities, please contact District Training Chairman Douglas Tetreault by clicking on his contact below.

Youth Protection Training is a joining requirement for all registered adults and must be retaken every two years in-person, or online at my.Scouting.org
