Appalachian Trail Ice Fishing Day
2020 APPALACHIAN TRAIL DISTRICT ICE FISHING DAY DETAILS:
Date: February 22, 2020 from 8am (registration starts at 7:30am) to 1pm. Come when can and stay as long as you'd like
Location: Controy Pavilion on Onota Lake, 401-487 Lakeway Drive, Pittsfield MA
Cost: $15 - includes hot chocolate, snacks, bait, and a patch
All are welcome - Scouts, non-Scouts, families and leaders.
BSA Certified Angling Instructors and experienced fishermen will be on the ice to help you learn ice fishing techniques.
Bait and equipment will be provided. If you have your own bait and equipment that you'd prefer to use, feel free to bring it along.
Bring lunch, snacks, water, and clothing appropriate to the weather. You will be outdoors for the entirety of the event.
For everyone's safety, please note that less than 6" of ice or rain or heavy snow would require us to cancel this event.
Please note that, per City and State regulations, snowmobiles are not permitted at this event.
