Moses Scout Reservation Summer Camp Fees

Description of Fees

  • Campsite Reservation Fee - A unit may reserve a campsite (please provide three alternative sites when registering) with a non-refundable $100 deposit. This can be made at any time but the earlier your unit reserves a site, the better. This fee is non-refundable, but applied to the total balance that is due.
  • Deposit per Scout - A $100 non-refundable but transferable deposit is due to register each Scout in your unit.
  • Transfering Deposits - If you pay deposits for 20 Scouts but only 18 end up going to camp, the additional $200 may be applied to cover your unit's total fees if done before May 15.
  • Late Fee - This is the fee charged if a registration is made one week before the week of camp.
  • Full Fee - This is the fee charged if the $100 deposit for a Scout is paid after April 1 as long as the balance is paid by May 15 and up until one week before the week of camp if paid in full at the time of registration.
  • Early Bird Fee - This is the discounted fee (5%) charged if the $100 deposit for a Scout is paid before April 1, as long as the balance paid in full by May 15.
  • New Scout Fee - This is the fee paid for any Scout who joins Scouting or any Cub Scout who crosses over to Scouts BSA the same year as camp (Jan to start of camp).
  • Loyalty Fee - For units that attended the Moses Scout Reservation the previous year and pay the $100 campsite reservation fee before November 30, this largest discount (10%)  is given to every Scout for whom the $100 deposit has been paid before April 1 and the balance is paid by May 15.
  • Sibling Discount - When siblings in a family unit attend camp, they receive a $25 discount per Scout. This applies regardless of program (Cub Scout/Scout BSA/Venturer) and covers siblings who may attend camp during different weeks.
This will be applied to every sibling, there is no need for one sibling to pay the entire fee.
Contact the Council Office to indicate the siblings that will be attending camp since this discount is applied manually and it is difficult for us to know all members of a family unit.
  • Multiple Week Discount - Scouts attending more than one week of BSA summer camp or high adventure trip anywhere will receive a discount on the fee for the additional weeks spent at Moses.
Note: Scouts BSA attending NYLT are eligible for this discount for their week(s) during the regular camp season.
Contact the Council Office since this discount is applied manually and it is difficult to track Scouts who attend more than one week.
