WHO can participate? All scouts, leaders, and their family members.
HOW do we do this? Spring 2010 – Formulate 2010 – 2011 Unit Calendar of Activities

How many pins will your unit stack up?	December –	PLAN – Is our unit going to participate? Who is in charge? Leadership? Transportation? Pledge Sheets? Bowling Time? Reservation? (ALL forms available on line – Post Road District)
	February 1^st -	Copy and distribute the instructions and sponsor sheet. Have scouts get pledges using the instructions and sponsor sheet. Check with scouts about pledges and check sheets.
	[Deadline]	MARCH 1st for RESERVATIONS Contact Terri Maslon @ (413)-283-8227 or tmaslon@hotmail.com You can’t bowl without a reservation. How many scouts and others are bowling from your unit? I NEED to reserve the right number of lanes at the right time. If your numbers increase or decrease, PLEASE tell me. I will confirm your reservation.

	March 5^th, 6^th or 12^th - Come to Alley 15 minutes prior to the time scheduled.
		Bowl & have FUN! Each unit will receive a summary sheet.

	April 1^st -	Have scouts collect and turn in pledge money to you, the leader. Compute 40% of money collected and deposit in your unit’s treasury.

	April 15^th -	Remit Payment to Western Mass. Council Per Unit Summary Sheet: 60% ( 40% profit & 20% expenses)

REWARDS: 40% profit to your unit. All bowlers receive a custom Bowl-a-Thon patch.

Any bowler who returns $100 or more will receive a Bowl-a-Thon T-Shirt. It’s that easy!
