Journey to Excellence Forums and Seminars
A large part of the District's role is to support the work of the local Units and to help ensure they are offering a quality program to their Scouts. Part of the toolkit to ensure this happens is to work with each Unit as they strive to attain Gold Unit status on the Journey to Excellence scoresheet.
To best use the information being presented, a Unit should review their 2013 JTE scoresheet and see what areas they could improve upon most. Then, send an adult or two to those presentations so they can bring back what they have learned. These forums and seminars, taught by local leaders who are experts in the field, will include:
Lion's clinic On-line opportunities
Ceremonies for Pack/Troop Journey to Excellence
Logging Service Hours World Conservation
