District Roundtable and Awards Night

Mike Giovaninni and our new Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner Fran are currently putting together the topics that will be covered in aggregate at the March Roundtable. I encourage all members of Chapweq to attend Roundtable meetings as they provide vital information for the adult leaders in this district.

 

Chapweq Awards Night is currently being scheduled and we need nominations for awards! As a district we are gathering volunteers to create a committee to vote on the nominees for all district awards. The awards night is tentatively scheduled for the first weekend in June. Please note all nominations need to be received by May 1, 2012 so that we allow the committee a full calendar month to review what I hope will be a large amount of nominations for Sparkplug Awards and Distinguished Unit Leader Awards. If you wish to submit a nomination in February please email Sean Farnam at sean.farnam@scouting.org as the planning committee will not meet for the first time until March. Please include a detailed description of the service the nominee has performed for the Chapweq District and the Western Massachusetts Council if it is applicable.
