The Appalachian Trail District serves all the communities of Berkshire County and the surrounding communities of Cummington, Worthington, Middlefield, Blandford, Chester, Huntington, Montgomery, Russell, and Stamford VT.

A Letter from the Key Three

Hello and welcome to the A.T. District webpage. The Key 3 of the District are working hard to make sure we give all Scouts and Scouters the best program possible! One of the ways we hope to achieve this goal is by keeping everyone as up-to-date as possible, so please check this page often...as a matter of fact, put it in your favorites now!

We are always looking for feedback on how to make the District as user friendly as possible, so if you have a comment or suggestion, let us know! If you would like to play a bigger role in the district, we are always looking for new members of the District Committee and Commissioner Staff. We welcome you to attend the monthly meetings to check it out or contact us.

The Western Massachusetts Council is honoring all Units that have achieved 50 years of continued service at the Annual Leader Recognition Dinner on February 4th. In the Appalachian Trail District, we are proud to boast 8 Troops that have achieved such status. These Troops are:

Troop 38 - Pope John Paul the Great Parish, 65+ Years

Troop 70 - Saints Patrick and Raphael Parish, Williamstown, 55+ Years

Troop 88 - First Congregational Church of North Adams, North Adams, 50+ Years
