Welcome to the Appalachian Trail District Activities Committee

Hello and thank you for visiting the home page for the Appalachian Trail District Activities Committee. The Activities Committee is responsible for all District-wide activities events held for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Explorers. Events like the Klondike Derby, Camporees, Bowl-A-Thon and Pinewood Derby are just a few examples of what we do.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help staff different activities. Most of our Boy Scout events are serviced by Venture Crew 6, a crew created expressly for designing and staffing District activities. Crew 6 ranks are filled with Eagle Scouts, current and former Scouts and Venturers, current and former Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters, and other experienced Scouters and we are always looking for more help. We are also on the lookout for adults interested in helping support our Cub activities, like the Pinewood Derby.
